Kathryn - Bellydance Performer

I have a wealth of experience gleaned from entertaining audiences around the UK since 2001, covering a variety of events such as; celebrations, weddings, parties*, conferences, restaurants and charity/fund raising events.
Being aware of the mood of the audience is important and by understanding the dynamics of interaction I am able to raise the energy and encourage willing participants to get involved in the show. On a number of occasions I've found a couple of ladies keen to join in the dance with me. I believe that this personalises the event, making it both magical and memorable for all, including myself.
Careful consideration goes into dance styles, costumes and colours to compliment the environment of the event. Performances can be tailored towards more traditional folkloric dancing, classical Egyptian belly dance or upbeat fusion dances and of course if you and your guests would like to be more involved, I can include a mini workshop for the audience, occurring at either the beginning of the event or at a designated break during the proceedings
Props
Props are an integral part of this dance form and I am proficient with; Isis Wings, Veil, Cane, Sagat (zills) and Sword. Pictures of these can be viewed by clicking here.
